  • Are you doing in-office sessions and/or virtual sessions?
    We offer both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate your preferences and needs. We strive to offer a flexible and personalized experience for our clients. Please let us know your preference, and we will be happy to schedule sessions accordingly.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    Nurturing Connections Counseling is an out-of-network provider. Although we don't accept insurance, we are partnering with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. Many insurance providers such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Health Care, or Aetna have out-of-network benefits and may possibly reimburse for psychotherapy services.   • How much does counseling services cost?
    Our fees are $125 for individual sessions and $135 for couples. Each session is 50 minutes long. We're here to ensure you have the information you need to make the best decision for your needs.
  • What type of payment do you accept?
    We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is expected at the time of your appointment.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Our cancellation policy requires a 24-hour notice for any scheduled session. If a cancellation is made within less than 24 hours of the scheduled session, the full session fee will be charged. The most effective way to cancel your appointment would be to contact our office at 714-617-5955 or reach out directly to your assigned therapist.
  • Can I use my Flex/HSA card for payment?
    YES!! If you would like to use one of these cards, please make sure to add the number on-line when you are completing your electronic forms.
  • How do I start?
    To start your counseling experience, you have two convenient options. You can either book a free consultation to discuss your needs and preferences, or if you’re ready to begin, you can directly schedule your first session by clicking “Book an Appointment” on any of our pages. Whichever method you choose, we look forward to assisting you on your journey towards well-being. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
  • How long is the counseling process?
    The counseling process varies for each client dependent upon identified goals and objectives. Each client is treated uniquely, and the process will be addressed in session. Progress will be assessed throughout the counseling process and presented periodically.
